Working with layer options. The component text is visible in the layout window. however, its visibility can be removed. By default, this text is placed on the Silk Screen layer. It is quite easy to turn off the visibility of this layer as outlined in the next few steps a. In the layout window, click Options Layers. When the Layer Editor appears, drag the scroll bar till you can see the two silk screen layers Remove the check from the visible box for both silk-screen layers and click OK.
